This project was a Strategic Masterplan to apply “smart” technology across the vast majority of housing in Singapore, covering 80% of the population. It involved a multi-firm team, with NCS (a division of Singtel) as the technology lead, AECOM as the planning/economics lead, and both Samsung SDS and ARUP playing supporting roles. This was the first project awarded in Singapore’s Smart Nation program, and Singapore is often ranked at the top of the world's Smart Cities.
