Projects

global attractions benchmarking | singapore tourism board

Analysis of various operating parameters including labor productivity for a wide range of tourism attractions (over 70). Goal was to compare Singapore with international best practices and make recommendations to improve performance.

A significant portion of the project involved exploration of how smart technologies were being used around the world to improve visitor experience and operations by reducing wait times, improving marketing through social media, increasing revenue opportunities, maximizing utilization of space, and improving labor productivity through scheduling. Measures included online ticketing and digital payments, mobile apps, RFID beacons, interactive digital attractions, VR rides, security measures, and predictive modeling for queuing, crowd control, and transit.

Role: Brian Jennett led the team engaged in this effort while a Director of Economics + Planning at AECOM.
